Hello, and welcome!

Music has been at the heart of my life since childhood. At the age of eight, I was awarded a scholarship to the Yehudi Menuhin School, and a year later I made my Royal Festival Hall debut as a soloist with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to perform across the UK and Europe, play at Buckingham Palace for Her Majesty the Queen, and tour internationally as both a soloist and chamber musician.

Alongside performing, my greatest passion is teaching and inspiring the next generation of musicians. For over twenty one years, I have taught violin, viola, and chamber music, from beginners taking their very first notes to advanced students preparing for conservatoire and university. Many of my pupils have gone on to join national orchestras and pursue professional music studies.

I am currently Head of String Teaching at the Guernsey Music Service, where I lead a dedicated team of teachers, direct ensembles including the Guernsey Youth Orchestra, and create exciting opportunities for young musicians to perform and grow. My teaching approach draws on both traditional methods and creative musicianship programmes such as Kodály and Suzuki, ensuring that every student develops a strong foundation, confidence, and a love for music.

In addition to teaching, I continue to perform regularly as a violinist and violist with ensembles such as the Guernsey Symphony Orchestra, Guernsey Camerata, and chamber groups across the Channel Islands and the UK.

Whether in person or online, my goal is to provide lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each individual, helping students of all ages discover their musical potential.

I would be delighted to share my love of music with you and help you on your journey.
